New Mother Amy in "The Annie" Annie & Isabel Designer Hospital Gown
A beautiful testimonial from Amy about wearing her Annie designer hospital gown for the birth of her first child.
"I have given Annie & Isabel gowns to a bunch of my friends as gifts, and was thrilled when it was my turn to receive and wear one! It was comfortable, cute and functional. I gave birth to Charlotte in Switzerland and I was definitely the most stylish new mom during my 5-day hospital stay. (Yes, 5 days....that's Europe for you!)"

A Beautiful Baby Daughter and Beautiful New Mom In Her "Annie" Designer Hospital Gown
We received this testimonial from Andrea, who recently gave birth to the most beautiful little girl! Just look at those cheeks! Thank you Andrea for taking the time to tell us how much you loved your "Annie" designer hospital gown! It always means the world to us, especially coming from a fellow RN!
"I had my daughter, Caroline, almost three weeks ago, and I really loved my Annie & Isabel gown. I ended up having a C-section and had to stay in the hospital for four days, so it got a lot of use :) The gown was much more functional than a regular hospital gown and I absolutely loved it. I got many compliments as well!"

Chris Welcomes Daughter in Her Annie & Isabel Designer Hospital Gown
Here is what Chris had to say about her experience wearing an Annie & Isabel designer hospital gown,
"My girlfriend was my labor and delivery nurse and when she first came into the room she immediately commented on how cute my "Annie" gown was and then made me promise that when she has a baby... I'll get her one!! The delivery of my second child was filled with excitement and challenges. My delivery was less than 2 hours, but my recovery was over 10. Due to the circumstances, I was unable to shower until after 9pm. Throughout that time, I was happily wearing my Annie & Isabel gown. While I hated not being able to clean up, I loved that I was in something that was mine. I was able to be comfortable moving between rooms, between care takers, and unexpected visitors because I had full coverage! I loved that I could breastfeed without problems and that I had a bit of fashion while waiting to clean up! I hope I don't have to use my hospital gown for medical purposes in the future, but I'm appreciative to know that if I was ever to be admitted to the hospital, I'd have my own comfortable, back covering, super cute gown to bring with me. Thank you so much for designing such a wonderful product."

A Husband's Gift of an Annie & Isabel Designer Hospital Gown
There is nothing more sweet than when a husband buys his wife an Annie & Isabel hospital gown for the upcoming birth of their child. It is one of the best "push presents" he can give because it provides his lovely wife the gift of comfort, style and beauty during a time when she might not exactly feel that way! We hear time and time again from new mothers that our gowns made them feel so beautiful and we LOVE that!! Thanks to all of the hubbies out there who support Annie & Isabel and in turn support their wives.
This proud husband, Dino, purchased the "Annie" designer hospital gown for his wife, Katie, and here is what Katie had to say about her experience:
"I wanted to thank you so much for creating such great gowns. I wore the Annie Gown during my birth to my beautiful daughter Sophia. Whan an awesome gown! It was so nice after a long labor to take a shower and put on this comfortable gown that made me feel beautiful. I love how easy it was to breastfeed my daughter and how easy it was to cover up too when people came to visit. After being in the same maternity wear for so many months it was great to put on my own personal gowns. I can't tell you all the compliments I got from nurses and staff about how awesome they thought this gown was. I can't wait until I can wear it again or maybe I will try one of the other beautiful patterns for the next delivery."
Congratulations Dino & Katie...Sophia is so sweet!

A Sweet Mother's Day Gift
We wanted to wish all mothers and moms-to-be a very happy Mother's Day today!! We, as mothers, know how blessed we are to have the beautiful families that we have and to also have the privilege of mothering our children with the hopes that they remain healthy, well-rounded children. Mother's Day is a nice time to reflect on our families and the blessings we have.
Some mothers are getting an extra special present this Mother's Day....the gift of a new baby. The new mother below, Hilary, is one such mom!!
Hilary celebrated the birth of her third child just three days ago. What is even more exciting to us is that this is the second birth in which she has worn her Annie & Isabel designer hospital gown. Hilary was one of the first mothers to ever wear an Annie & Isabel designer hospital gown and now she is one of the first to wear it for a 2nd birth!!! She first wore her Annie & Isabel gown when she gave birth to Raven which you can read about HERE. Scroll near the bottom to see her testimonial:-)This is what Hilary said about wearing her Annie & Isabel hospital gown for the second time which we thought was so neat:
"I was so excited to be able to wear my gown again....it held such good memories from Raven's birth and now it will hold memories from Azri's birth!"
Congratulations Hilary and a special Happy Mother's Day to you!!!
Don't forget that we are still offering free shipping on orders through today with code "Mothers". Last chance to order your gown with an $8 savings on shipping.

Edie Lambert Welcomes New Baby Girl in the "Annie" Hospital Gown
If you are from the Sacramento area, then you are most likely familiar with the name, Edie Lambert. Edie is a well respected newscaster for KCRA Channel 3 and has been reporting for them since 1995. It was such a joy to get to know Edie when we corresponded with her about the Annie & Isabel designer hospital gown that she would wear for the birth of her daughter. She is as genuine and friendly in person as she appears on television!
We loved hearing why Edie chose the Annie designer hospital gown. She told us she would be using the name, Annie, as a part of her daughters middle name in honor of her great grandmothers. This struck a cord with us, as you know how important and meaningful it has been for us to name our gowns after our ancestors. So it really touched us that Edie was choosing to remember her great-grandmothers by giving the middle name of Annie to her little Alise. We have always felt that by naming our own children, and now, our company and gowns, after our loved ones that we help insure that their name AND their legacies will be kept alive.
Edie, already so beautiful, looks radiant in her Annie hospital gown.
Baby AliseIn addition to the "Annie" hospital gown, Edie was also gifted the "Evelyn" hospital gown by her good friend. We received this very nice note from Edie about her experience wearing her Annie & Isabel designer hospital gowns:
"I just had to write a quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed wearing your pretty line of gowns as I gave birth to my daughter. It was a joyful time, and that was reflected in the cheerful colors and patterns of the gowns. I also appreciated not having to worry about my backside hanging out every time I walked down the hall!! I loved my gowns so much, I bought two for my mother-in-law for an upcoming surgery. I also loaned mine to my friend, Erin, when she was hospitalized during her pregnancy and she liked them so much she ordered a few more. Between the two of us, I think we now own almost your entire line!"
"As I have been preparing to return to work, I've been looking at the photos Brenda Bisharat shot during those first days in the hospital. Those are precious memories and I am grateful that they're captured as I wore gowns that felt special, beautiful and comfortable."
"Thank you both for using your expertise and creativity to come up with such a great idea."
~Edie Lambert~
Congratulations Edie and Lloyd! We also want to thank Brenda Bisharat for, once again, doing an amazing job of capturing those first newborn moments!!!

Testimonial from Julissa Ortiz of Good Day Sacramento!

The exciting on air announcement this past October
If you are local to the Sacramento area, you may remember the live TV announcement last fall when Julissa Ortiz and husband, Steve Large, of Good Day Sacramento, were expecting their first child! Julissa is loved by many for her bubbly personality, contagious laugh, and also for her love of animal prints! She was the perfect person to rock our Susan gown for the birth of her sweet baby Natalia, who made her debut this past January. Julissa and Steve shared Natalia's first pictures on the GDS's blog and gave Annie & Isabel some love!
Julissa wore our Susan gown at the hospital and talented local photographer, Brenda Bisharat, took these precious photographs of their first day as a family of three. We are honored to share this testimonial and want to thank Julissa for all of her support! Brenda was able to so beautifully portray Julissa's fun personality and the love that she and Steve have for their new beautiful baby girl!

Here is what Julissa said about wearing her "Susan" Annie & Isabel designer hospital gown,
"I couldn't wait to wear my sassy hospital gown!! It was washed and packed weeks before going to the hospital. Having my very own gown for the birth of my first baby girl only added to this special experience. After 16 exhausting hours of labor, the Annie & Isabel gown made me feel pretty and so sassy! It was so much more comfortable that the worn out hospital gown! It covers up everything the needs to be covered up, but also makes nursing easy too! Thank you Annie & Isabel."

Congratulations to the Large Family!

Another New Baby and Happy Mama in Two Annie & Isabel Hospital Gowns
We just received a beautiful testimonial from a friend of mine from nursing school. This is Melody with her husband, Nhan, and their precious little baby boy. I remember not long after she got pregnant, she contacted me saying how she HAD to have an Annie & Isabel hospital gown....or two..... for her delivery!!! She told me that, being a nurse, she knows what gets on those standard hospital gowns and how relieved she was that we came up with this company because now she wouldn't have to wear a yucky old hospital gown for her delivery. Melody had the unfortunate experience of spending a couple days in the hospital early on in her pregnancy and ended up on bedrest for a long time prior to her delivery so she got lots of use out of her gowns.

My Birth Story in Pictures
Remember what it was like to anticipate the birth of your child? Maybe some of you are doing that right now. Maybe some of you are waiting for your first baby and you are a little scared? For me, I can think of nothing better than those last days before my children were born. They were days that were filled with such excitement and uncertainty. My mind always swirled with so many unanswered questions. When will I go into labor...morning, noon or night? Will my water break in public? Will my baby be o.k.? I wonder how much he weighs..I think a lot!! How long will my labor be? Will I have my little one tomorrow? Oh please, I am so ready!!!
Childbirth is the one thing in life that leaves such a vivid indelible memory in most women's life experiences. I have had four boys and I remember each birth so clearly. You can ask any woman who has given birth to a child or has adopted a child and they can tell you every little detail of their delivery experience or their experience meeting their new child for the first time.
When I had my fourth son I knew that this baby would more than likely be our last child. I had always wanted to have pregnancy pictures done and for some reason I never did it. I think, ultimately, I felt too embarrassed to have someone take pictures of my naked belly. With my last pregnancy, however, I knew it was something I would do. I didn't want to regret never having done it and I wanted to remember what I looked like with a pregnant belly. Luckily I had met a wonderful photographer, Brenda Bisharat, before I became pregnant with my fourth boy. Sometime in my last trimester I had the pregnancy pictures taken and I truly cherish them today. If you have ever thought of having pictures done while you are pregnant I would strongly encourage you to do it. The pictures are not only wonderful to have for yourself but your children will love looking at them when they are older.
After doing pregnancy pictures, I made the decision to also have my birth professionally photographed by the same photographer. This was a big decision because giving birth to a child is a very private experience and one in which I knew I would be completely exposed. What I discovered was, that by having Daniel's birth photographed professionally, I received such a precious irreplaceable and amazing gift! So, while many people like to share their birth story in words, I thought it would be fun to share mine in pictures and maybe you might decide that this treasure is one that you also have to have when you give birth to your child some day. I personally will never regret it!!! Thank you Brenda Bisharat for capturing my birth story so incredibly well and for putting together the wonderful video of my pictures below!!!
P.S. Just think how much cuter those hospital pictures would have been if I was in an Annie & Isabel designer hospital gown. Unfortunately this was before the idea to make our gowns became a reality :-(

Another testimonial is in... The Isabel Designer Hospital Gown....was a HIT!
One of our dear friends Dimitra wore two of our first generation Annie & Isabel Gowns. Here she is in The Isabel on the day that she delivered her beautiful son! Welcome to motherhood Di~ You are going to be an amazing Mom!
Love you!

Love you!
Dimitra introducing her niece Alexia to her new cousin
Here is what Dimitra had to say about her experience in her very own Annie & Isabel Gown...
"I am so happy that I had my own gown during my time in the hospital having my son...especially during such long stretches of time, waiting for the show to start! My gown fit great, was comfortable, and the best part is knowing that this gown had not been worn by others- it was exclusively for me;) My Doctor came in to check on me during my long hospital visit and said that on the board, out by the nurse's station, they had written next to my name "cute gown!" Funny how a little thing such as having my own gown made me feel SO special. So many pictures were taken of me that I will treasure forever. It was nice to have something on that looked great in the pictures with my new son."
